Information Reports
We are learning to write information reports. To be successful we need to answer these questions.
1. What is it?
2. What does it look like?
3. Where do you find it?
4. What can it do?
5. What do you think about it?
Whales
A whale is a mammal and they are sea creatures. They look like a huge fish, but they aren't. We see them in the ocean. Some people see them at sea. Whales can do back flips. They are the biggest mammal in the whole history of the world. Even bigger than a dinosaur. I feel sad when people kill them.

A whale is a mammal and a sea creature. Some whales have spots like the whale shark. They are the biggest animal in the world. They have fins, a tail and a blow hole. Whales are found in the ocean. All of them can dive and back flip. Whales are awesome.

Whales
Whales are animals and mammals. Whales are the biggest things in the world. A whale has bumps and they are warm-blooded. The whales live in the ocean. They can swim and breath. Most whales can do back flips. I think whales are cool and awesome because they are monstrous.

All Together - Friendship
This week the Life Education van is visiting our school. We are learning how to be good friends. This is Payton's story about our first visit to the van.
Today we saw Harold the giraffe. We watched a movie about him. He is cute. We heard him eating breakfast. We heard him brushing his teeth! He is big. We saw him bike riding in the movie. He had a rabbit friend and a possum friend and he had a big house. His door is shaped like a giraffe.

Robyn Belton's Visit
Robyn Belton came to school. She read about Greedy Cat and Herbert. When she spun a picture, the picture changed. If you looked quickly you would see the fish was in Greddy Cat's tummy.

Today we went to see Robyn Belton. She drew us a Greed Cat picture. It was cool seeing Bobyn Belton's picture. I loved it. She spun a necklace and a fish went into Greedy Cat's stomach. The fish was on the other side of the necklace as well. It was cool.

Caring for Our Water
Today we made a new list of all the ways we are going to help save water.
1. Wash our hands then turn the tap off.
2. Keep our water clean, don't drop rubbish.
3. Don't fill our glass up if we only want a little drink.
4. Use a bottle of water when we can.
5. Turn off the tap while we are cleaning our teeth.
6. Collect rain water in drums and bowls and use it to water our plants.
7. Put a bowl in the shower to collect the cold water before we get in.
8. Have a shower, not a bath.
